Arden Urban Design Competition 2018

In 2018 students from any Victorian university were given the opportunity to apply the lessons learnt from the OFC seminar series in an exciting interdisciplinary design competition. We brought students, industry practitioners and communities together to engage in the new age of sustainable urban development.

“I learned lessons on communication, group work and built new friendships. The results will go on for years to come!”
— Timothy, OFC 2018

The 2018 city challenge focused on the Arden Urban Renewal Precinct. This unique site challenged students to revitalise the industrial areas of North Melbourne and create vibrant neighbourhoods that reflect best practice urban design.
